They made names for themselves on the Disney Channel, whether it was through a hit movie like High School Musical or from massive music careers like that of the Jonas Brothers. But while they were just kids themselves when their careers were starting out, these Disney stars are now parents themselves.
From Lizzie McGuire’s Hilary Duff to High School Musical stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, these are some of your favorite Disney stars who have welcomed children!
1. Hilary Duff
The former Lizzie McGuire star is now 37 years old and has four children. She welcomed 12-year-old Luca with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, in 2012. Duff remarried to Matthew Koma in 2019 and the two have welcomed three children together. Their daughter Banks was born in 2018, followed by daughter Mae in 2021 and daughter Townes in 2024.
“I’m so in love with all my kids,” Duff said, “and I love this mayhem.”
2. Adrienne Bailon
Adrienne Bailon, one-fourth of The Cheetah Girls, recently welcomed her first child, son Ever James, via surrogate on August 5, 2022.
“Our baby boy is here & we are so in love!” Bailon wrote on Instagram. “If you have followed our love story, you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging … We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months. He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage.”
3. Joe Jonas
The middle Jonas Brother, Joe, has two children whom he welcomed with ex-wife Sophie Turner. Their first child, daughter Willa, was born in 2020. Their second daughter, Delphine, was born in 2022. Jonas and Turner have been careful and haven’t shared photos of their daughters, trying to keep them out of the public eye.
“To my little ones at home, Daddy loves you to the moon and back,” Jonas said in his Hollywood Walk of Fame acceptance speech.
4. Ashley Tisdale
The “Fabulous” singer and High School Musical alum has welcomed two children with husband Christopher French. Their daughter Jupiter was born in 2021, followed by their daughter Emerson in 2024.
5. Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens, star of the High School Musical trilogy, recently welcomed her first child with her husband, baseball player Cole Tucker. Although she hasn’t shared publicly the name or gender of her child, Hudgens gave birth in July 2024.
Hudgens hasn’t spoken about her child, but she did share one message following the birth. “We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media,” Hudgens wrote on Instagram. “Despite all of that, Mom, dad and baby are happy and healthy.”
6. Brenda Song
She was best known as London Tipton on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and now she’s a mom of two! Brenda Song, who is engaged to Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, welcomed son Dakota in 2021 and another son in 2022 whose name hasn’t been revealed.
7. Nick Jonas
The youngest of the Jonas Brothers (at least in the musical group) welcomed his first child with wife Priyanka Chopra. The couple wed in 2018 and had their daughter, Malti Marie, in January 2022, via surrogate.
“I think that, for me, becoming a parent changed everything in my life and my perspective on everything,” Jonas shared. “My daughter is the light of my world.”
8. Kevin Jonas
The oldest Jonas, Kevin, welcomed two daughters with wife Danielle Jonas since their marriage began in 2009. Their first daughter, Alena, was born in 2014 and their second, Valentina, in 2016. The Jonas’ frequently share photos of their daughters on social media, and they also often accompany the couple at the Jonas Brothers concerts.
