If you’re a fan of the hit holiday classic Home Alone and its sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, then you know that the kids who made up the McCallister crew were quite the rowdy bunch. When they weren’t picking on poor Kevin, they were doing just about all they could to make his life a little bit harder. Here, take a look at what the McCallister kids have been up to since they brought their characters to life in these Christmas classics.
Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin)
Macaulay Culkin led these films as Kevin McCallister and both before and after Home Alone, he was one of the most in-demand young actors in Hollywood, also leaving his mark in films like My Girl (1991) and The Good Son (1993). Though he continued acting into young adulthood and partook in several alternative ventures such as leading a comedy-rock band called The Pizza Underground, much of his public persona after Home Alone was defined by a struggle with drugs, publicized by his 2004 arrest. These days, however, Culkin is in a happy and healthy relationship with former Disney Channel star Brenda Song, with whom he shares two children.
Buzz McCallister (Devin Ratray)
Known for playing Kevin’s menacing older brother, Devin Ratray expertly portrayed the character of Buzz in these films. Over the years, Ratray acted in countless films and series including Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods and several others. He even brought the character of Buzz to the screen again in 2021’s Home Sweet Home Alone.
Megan McCallister (Hillary Wolf)
Hillary Wolf played another one of Kevin’s siblings, and though she was building her career as a young actress prior to these films, after the sequel, she seemed to step away from acting to pursue other passions including judo. She even competed in the Olympics!
Linnie McCallister (Angela Goethals)
After Home Alone, Angela Goethals also continued to act on both the big and small screen, most prominently in series like Do Over, The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire, 24 and more. Though she didn’t return for Home Alone 2, she could be seen in notable films like Jerry Maguire (1996) and Spanglish (2004).
Jeff McCallister (Michael Maronna)
Maronna was another member of this cast who had a successful career outside of Home Alone, the actor having starred in the Nickelodeon series The Adventures of Pete & Pete during his youth. However, much of the actor’s film career has been behind the scenes working in the electrical department.
Tracy McCallister (Senta Moses)
After her Home Alone role, Senta Moses built quite an illustrious television career for herself, her resume including series ranging from General Hospital, Faking It, and Beekman’s World to Sister, Sister, Everybody Loves Raymond and beyond.
Sondra McCallister (Diana Rein)
Nineties hits like Home Alone and its sequel, as well as Dennis the Menace, made up Diana Rein’s early resume, and in 2014, she wrote, produced and starred in Gypsy Gift. However, these days, her music career takes up the bulk of her time.
Brooke McCallister (Anna Slotky)
Anna Slotky’s early success included both film work with Home Alone and Home Alone 2 as well as television work on The Torkelsons, Sister, Sister and more, but after stepping away from the screen by the early 2000s, the former actress actually went on to have a very successful law career.
Fuller McCallister (Kieran Culkin)
Macaulay’s real-life little bro portrayed his pesky cousin in the beloved holiday films, and while he held memorable roles in popular movies like Father of the Bride and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, it wasn’t until 2018 when he originated the role of Roman Roy in Succession that he found mainstream success.
