Kristen Stewart
While filming Twilight, Kristen Stewart famously dated her on-screen love interest Robert Pattinson. The couple confirmed their relationship in 2010, but the rumors of their romance began a year earlier. It only took two years before their first controversy ensued.
In July 2012, Stewart was caught kissing Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. She then apologized, saying, “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.”
“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
A year later, in May 2013, the couple split and accredited Stewart’s infidelity as the reason why, causing Twilight fans all around the world to weep.
Later, in 2016, Stewart opened up about her relationship with Pattinson, saying, “People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product.”
“It wasn’t real life anymore. And that was gross to me. It’s not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I’m doing in my life. It’s that I don’t want to become a part of a story for entertainment value.”
The two remain friends to this day, and Stewart even attended Pattinson’s birthday in 2023.
Following her split with her former co-star, Stewart came out as queer in 2017 and has gone on to date several different women. Most recently, she has been romantically linked to screenwriter Dylan Meyer. The two have been together since 2019.
“The first time I told her I loved her, it was like really late, and we were in some like s—– bar,” said Stewart. “And her friends were there or whatever, and they walked out, and I was just, like, ‘Oh, man, I’m so f—— in love with you.’ Like, done. It wasn’t, like, ‘a thing,’ and it also was, like, so obvious.”
The pair are still together today and often walk red carpets together.
Robert Pattinson
After ending things with Stewart, Pattinson dated singer FKA Twigs in 2014. The pair met through their mutual friend, Florence Welch, and dated for three years, but split due to travel issues. There were also rumors that Pattison cheated.
The two have remained rather close-lipped about their love affair, but in 2022 Twigs said that she was bullied during their relationship.
“He was their white Prince Charming, and I think they considered that he should definitely be with somebody white and blonde and … not me,” she said. “Say if I was wearing a red dress, they would have a [photo of a] monkey in a red dress, or if I was on a bike, they’d find a monkey on a bike.”
“I just remember it had this massive, dysmorphic effect on me for about six months to a year, where every time I saw my pictures, in photographs, I would think, ‘Gosh, I look like a monkey, and people are gonna say that I look like a monkey, so I need to really try and hide this monkey-ness that I have.”
Following his split with Twigs, Pattinson began a love affair with actress and singer Suki Waterhouse. They met in 2018, made their red carpet debut in 2022, got engaged in 2023 and welcomed their first child in 2024.
“I think Rob’s quite funny,” Waterhouse said in a rare public comment regarding her partner. “I light up when I’m around him.”
Pattinson and Waterhouse are still together to this day, and they’re often seen on the red carpet at events.
Taylor Lautner
Taylor Lautner has been in several high-profile relationships throughout his career, most notably with actress Billie Lourd, actress Marie Avgeropoulos and even singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. Sadly, none of them worked out, though, and instead, Lautner married registered nurse Taylor Dome. The two started dating after Lautner’s sister introduced them in 2018, got engaged in 2021 and then tied the knot in November the next year.
Dome changed her last name following the wedding, making both parties “Taylor Lautner.”
“Packages are becoming tough. We need to figure something out because when I’m buying stuff for her, and she’s buying stuff for me, we’re going to have some surprises spoiled if we open the wrong Taylor Lautner package,” the Twilight star joked.
“TSA … they’ll be, like, ‘Which one of you is Taylor Lautner?’ And we’re, like, ‘Both of us.’ They’re, like, ‘Meh, this seems fishy. We’re gonna send you to security.’”
So far, it seems like the name thing hasn’t been a problem and the two remain happily married to this day. They often post about their outings on social media and even co-host a podcast together called The Squeeze with Taylor Lautner & Taylor Lautner. They also got matching tattoos together.
Ashley Greene
Alice might have been able to see the future, but we don’t think even she would have been able to see how happy actress Ashley Greene would be with her future husband, Paul Khoury. The two got married in 2018 and welcomed their first child in 2022.
“Five years ago I married my best friend… 5 years later, you still give me giggles and butterflies,” Greene wrote in 2023. “ I knew I loved you then, but I could never understand how much I would love you now. Life with you is the greatest adventure.”
Greene and Khoury are still together and often post glowing love letters to each other on social media.
Jackson Rathbone
Jasper and Alice might not have ended up together, but actor Jackson Rathbone did end up happily married to Sheila Hafsadi. They have been married since 2020 after welcoming their son together in 2019.
“We are both spontaneous people. I wouldn’t say we are bohemian, but we are both artistic,” Rathbone said. “It was one of those things. I always said I believed in love at first sight, but I never really had that feeling before.”
Rathbone and Hafsadi are still together as of now, but remain rather quiet on social media.
Nikki Reed
It turns out Nikki Reed just couldn’t leave the world of brooding vampires behind because, in 2015, she married fellow teen heartthrob Ian Somerhalder.
Before that, though, she married Paul McDonald in 2011 and remained with him until 2015. The details around their relationship and split remain unclear.
After that, though, Reed moved on to Somerhalder and has been with him ever since. They have since welcomed three kids together.
“We live such crazy nomadic lifestyles all over the place, on planes, and [we’ve had] to uproot and move,” Reed said in 2018. “Now that we’re a family, the whole family goes together so that Mom and Dad can both be there at every second to witness every milestone and everything that’s happening.”
“It’s kind of like you pick up the whole house and move it and set the house down. We definitely are feeling right now like we miss home.”
Reed and Somerhalder are still happily married and often post about each other on their respective socials.
Kellan Lutz
In 2017, actor Kellan Lutz married Brittany Lutz. They have since welcomed two kids together.
“He’s such a good dad,” Brittany wrote on Instagram in September 2024. “What’s important to his kids is important to him.”
The couple is still going strong, and while they don’t do a lot of interviews, they do post together on social media.
