We often think of Taylor Swift as a strong solo artist, but it turns out the Grammy Award-winning singer has recorded incredible songs with other musicians as well. We won’t spoil who they are at this point, but we guarantee that she’s collaborated with every genre of musical artist out there. To find out who those people are, keep reading.
The ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ album
Keith Urban

Appearing together on the song “That’s When (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault),” these two country stars’ voices just mesh so well together.
Urban also sang Swift’s phrases, saying, “What I love about Taylor is she was always willing to confront her inabilities and work on them. She worked on being a better singer. She worked on being a better performer. She was always a great writer. She worked on all of it.”
“That’s When (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” has not been played on The Eras Tour yet. It is one of the few songs left.
Colbie Caillat

Colbie Caillat can be heard in the background of Swift’s song “Breath (Taylor’s Version).” She was also on the original version back in 2008. This song was performed during The “Surprise Songs” section of The Eras Tour on June 10, 2023 in Detroit, Michigan, but without Caillat.
Marren Morris

Marren Morris and Swift first performed together onstage during Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018 before deciding to release the song “You All Over Me (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” together in 2021.
“She’s [Swift] been so supportive of me and my career over the years,” Morris said in 2023. “[I’ve been] looking up to her since I was a teenager and watching her navigate her country music to pop career so gracefully. The way she treats her fans is just so kind and generous. She’s setting a high bar.”
“You All Over Me (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” was performed during The Eras Tour by both Swift and Morris.
The ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ album
Fallout Boy

The early 2000 punk rock band Fallout Boy might seem like a random group for Swift to collaborate with, but the singer did just that for her 2023 re-release of Speak Now! All of them can be heard on the upbeat track “Electric Touch (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault),” which has been performed on The Eras Tour, but sadly not with Fallout Boy.
Hayley Williams

Another artist Swift worked with for her Speak Now re-recording is her longtime friend—and Paramore member—Hayley Williams on the song “Castles Crumbling (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault).”
“I fell in love with Taylor’s songs long before I met her,” said Williams. “And when we finally did hang out, she was exactly the person she seemed she would be: clever, honest and one of the best storytellers I know.”
“Castles Crumbling (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” has been performed on The Eras Tour by both Swift and Williams.
The ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ album
Ed Sheeran

Since Ed Sheeran and Swift are really good friends, it’s no surprise that he appears not once, but twice on the Red (Taylor’s Version) album. Initially, he is on “Everything Has Changed (Taylor’s Version)”—which they originally released in 2012—and then again on “Run (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault).”
“I have long, long, long conversations with Taylor about stuff, just because I feel like she’s one of the only people that actually truly understands where I’m at,” Sheeran said. “That in itself is kind of therapy as well, because you’re actually talking to someone that genuinely gets it, that has all the things that you feel and have insecurities about how other people treat you or how your family treats you, how your friends treat you—she’s just basically in the same sphere.”
Both songs have been performed on The Eras Tour, with Swift even bringing out Sheeran for “Everything Has Changed (Taylor’s Version).”
Chris Stapleton
Chris Stapleton and Swift were the collab we never knew we needed. Appearing as a backing vocal artist on the song “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault),” Stapleton’s voice really shines. Sadly, though, the country music star didn’t appear in the music video for the song.
Similarly, “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” was performed at The Eras Tour but without Stapleton.
Gary Lightbody
Gary Lightbody and Swift’s collaboration for the song “The Last Time (Taylor’s Version)” is often forgotten about, but that doesn’t mean it is any way less wonderful. The duo originally recorded in 2012 and then worked together again for Swift’s 2022 re-recording.
“The Last Time (Taylor’s Version)” has been played at The Eras Tour twice.
The Civil Wars
Just like Lightbody and Sheeran, Swift originally collaborated with The Civil Wars in 2012 to make the song “Safe & Sound” for The Hunger Games movie. It was a single, but before she went on her Eras Tour, Swift announced that they would be re-recording it, and it would appear digitally on the Red (Taylor’s Version) album.
Swift has sung “Safe & Sound (Taylor’s Version)” during the “Surprise Song” section of The Eras Tour.
Phoebe Bridgers

Another friend of Swift’s, Phoebe Bridgers appears on the song “Nothing New (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault).”
“I think that she [Swift] is an incredible businessperson and an incredible writer,” Bridgers said back in 2022. “What she’s been able to build just from writing adeptly from a young age is insane.”
“Nothing New (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” made its Eras Tour debut on June 24, 2024, in Hamburg, Germany. Unfortunately, Bridgers was not there.
The ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ album
Kendrick Lamar

There might only be one other singer besides Swift featured on the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album, but man, it’s a good one. Rapper Kendrick Lamar teamed up with Swift for the song “Bad Blood (Taylor’s Version),” which is a remake of another Swift song of the same name.
“Watching @kendricklamar create and record his verses on the ‘Bad Blood’ remix was one of the most inspiring experiences of my life,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I still look back on this collaboration with so much pride and gratitude for the ways Kendrick elevated the song and the way he treats everyone around him.”
“Bad Blood (Taylor’s Version)” is on The Eras Tour setlist, meaning Swift sings it at every single show.
The ‘Reputation’ Album
Ed Sheeran and Future
Having one surprise musician in a song is fun, but two?! Talk about legendary. In the track “End Game,” Swift, Sheeran and the rapper Future appear. All three of them were also in the music video.
“End Game” was performed during the “Surprise Song” section of The Eras Tour by both Swift and Sheeran.
The ‘Lover’ Album
Brendon Urie

Panic at the Disco’s lead singer, Brendon Urie, and Swift decided to team up not only for the Lover album’s lead single “Me,” but for the music video as well.
Raves Urie, “We just had so much fun working on that song and her [Swift] ideas for videos. She’s really collaborative and just a blast to work with.”
Despite it being a lead single, “Me” was not on The Eras Tour setlist, but was performed once as a surprise song.
The Chicks

The Chicks—formerly The Dixie Chicks—teamed up with Swift for the song “Soon You’ll Get Better,” which was dedicated to Swift’s mother, Andrea, after her battle with cancer.
“Early in my life, these three women showed me that female artists can play their own instruments while also putting on a flamboyant spectacle of a live show,” Swift said of The Chicks. “They taught me that creativity, eccentricity, unapologetic boldness and kitsch can all go together authentically. Most importantly, they showed an entire generation of girls that female rage can be a bonding experience between us all the very second we first heard Natalie Maines bellow ‘that Earl had to DIE.’”
“Soon You’ll Get Better” has not yet been played on The Eras Tour, which makes sense as it would probably be too emotional for Swift.
Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes appears on the remix version of “Lover” alongside Swift, but the song never appears on the original album release. It is also not talked about or streamed a lot.
“Lover” is on The Eras Tour setlist, but not the version with Mendes in it.
The ‘folklore’ album
Bon Iver
The song “exile” marked Bon Iver and Swift’s first time singing together, but it wouldn’t be the last! The two would collaborate again, but more on that later.
“exile” has been sung by Swift as a surprise song on The Eras Tour.
The ‘evermore’ album
Bon Iver
We told you Iver and Swift collaborated again! On the 2020 album evermore, Iver can be heard on the album’s titular track.
“evermore” has been performed twice by Swift during the “Surprise Song” section
Haim

Swift is no stranger to collaborating with her friends, so it wasn’t a surprise to anyone when she teamed up with the band Haim for the song “No Body, No Crime.” Haim is a band consisting of three sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana, all of whom are friends with Swift.
“[Taylor’s] the best, and she deserves every accolade that she’s ever had,” Este Haim said in a video posted on X (formally known as Twitter). “She’s a true genius, and she’s also, like, the best friend and the best hang.”
“no body, no crime” was sung by both Swift and Haim on The Eras Tour after the three sisters joined it as an opening act.
The National

Swift’s close friend and producer Aaron Dessner does appear on Swift’s ninth studio album on the song “coney island” under the name The National, which is his band’s name.
Dessner and Swift have worked on each of her albums since 2020. He also appeared on stage at The Eras Tour many times.
“coney island” has been performed three times during the “Surprise Song” section, never with Dessner but once with Sabrina Carpenter.
The ‘Midnights’ album
Ice Spice

The collaboration between Ice Spice and Swift might have seemed random, but the two did just that for the 2023 remix of Swift’s song “Karma.” They also worked together on the music video.
Said Swift of Ice Spice, “I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch.”
“Karma” is the closing song on The Eras Tour setlist, and Swift even brought out Ice Spice for the three East Rutherford, New Jersey shows.
Lana Del Rey

Another friend of Swift’s has worked with is Lana Del Rey, which was a collaboration fans had been waiting for. They sang the song “Snow on The Beach Together,” which was played as a surprise song on The Eras Tour but never with Del Rey.
‘The Tortured Poets Department’ album
Post Malone

Post Malone and Swift? Sign us up! Appearing together on the first song of Swift’s 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department, Malone and Swift also starred in the song’s music video.
“I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever,” wrote Swift. “I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on ‘Fortnight’.”
“Fortnight” is on The Eras Tour setlist, with Swift singing Malone’s part.
