Taylor Swift Books: New ‘Eras Tour’ Book and More

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour might be on its final leg, but that doesn’t mean the singer is going to let people forget it anytime soon. That’s right, Swifties — the “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me” singer recently shared that along with her already released Eras Tour movie and behind-the-scenes clips used in her “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” music video, she will be releasing a book about her experience on the road. There’s much more to know, including the cute little Easter eggs Swift was sure to include.

What to know about the Taylor Swift Eras Tour book

Announced via Swift’s Instagram, The Eras Tour book is going to be available only at Target on November 29. There will be no preorders available, but it’s expected to be available for purchase online the next day.

This tour has been the most wondrous experience, and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “Excited to announce The Official Eras Tour Book, filled with my own personal reflections, never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos, all the magical memories you guys brought every single night.”

The Official Eras Tour Book will be 256 pages and include over 500 photos of Swift during rehearsals and various on-stage performances, as well as behind-the-scenes shots of her costumes, instruments, set pieces and more.

And in true Swift fashion, some Easter eggs came along with the announcement of the book. Fans quickly noticed that if you add up the number of pages in the book (2+5+6) and the release date  (1+1+2+9), you get a total of 13, which is famously the singer’s lucky number. They also noticed that during the quick video preview of the book pages, the camera seems to stop on the Reputation section for a few seconds, causing people to believe that the singer is once again hinting at Reputation (Taylor’s Version)

Along with The Official Eras Tour Book, Swift also announced that the second half of her album, The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, will finally be available on vinyl and CD. This comes after the album’s initial release in April 2024.

Both of these items will be released before Swift officially ends her Eras Tour in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, December 8.

Other Taylor Swift books

While The Eras Tour book is exciting, it’s not the first time Swift has published a book dedicated to her concerts and albums.

After the release of her 2019 album Lover, the singer issued a deluxe album version that not only featured a CD of the album, but also contained a lot of Swift’s personal diary entries and pictures.

Then, for her re-release of Red, Swift wrote and directed a music video for her song “All Too Well (Ten Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault),” and in it, the girl (played by Sadie Sink) gets broken up with by her boyfriend (Dylan O’Brien) and decides to turn her experience into a book. Obviously, the book is called All Too Well, and viewers see the gorgeous blue cover that features a white tree with a red scarf hanging off of it at the end of the video.

To celebrate both the beautiful music video and Red (Taylor’s Version), Swift then released a journal version of the book featured in the  “All Too Well” (Ten Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” music video. Sadly, this book did not feature any words, but it does allow Swift’s fans to write whatever they want in it.

Both of these items are still available for purchase on Swift’s website.
