Social Media:
My TikTok is @xoxotaaaji. I’m planning on posting more of my weight loss journey!

What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going during the tough times?
My motivation was my job. I work in Law enforcement. I plan on moving up in the ranks and joining our Emergency Response Team!

What inspired me to keep going was how I physically changed. I have been bigger my whole life, and it’s really rewarding to see how my clothes fit and how I can run up the stairs without being winded.

How did you change your eating habits?
My eating habits were really hard to change CAUSE I LOVE FOOD. I tried different diets, meal kits, and plans. However, what really worked for me was a lower carb (not extreme like keto) and high protein eating style while eating in a calorie deficit. I still indulge in the foods I love cause I found that cutting them entirely off causes me to binge.

What is your workout routine?
My routine consists of cardio and weight training! I’ve been watching TikToks on how to use different equipment around the gym.

How often do you work out?
I work out 4-5 days a week and have a pretty active job, so I’m constantly on my feet.

What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 261 pounds, and my current weight is 220 pounds.

What is your height?
My height is 5’6″.

When did you start your journey, and how long did it take?
I started gearing down and being consistent in March 2024, and I’m still going!

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, surgery is not a part of my plan.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to stop being so hard on myself and beating myself up for missing a day at the gym or eating a bag of chips.

What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
Some advice I can give is to find what works for YOU. Also, for those who struggle with gym anxiety, I PROMISE nobody is looking at you and judging you. If they are, it’s cause you look goooodt. So GO ahead and get that workout in!
