Over the past few months, Wicked has been everywhere: from Glinda and Elphaba Starbucks drinks to Wicked product collabs with stores from Bloomingdale’s and Crocs. If you’ve been waiting in anticipation to see Wicked this Friday just like the rest of us, you’ll be thrilled to hear about this new opportunity.
Hilton is launching the Stay Like Wicked experience, where fans of the film have the chance of a lifetime to stay in a newly designed Hilton hotel suite that fully immerses you in the Wizard of Oz-inspired movie in the heart of New York City’s Broadway neighborhood. To book this magical suite at the New York Hilton Midtown location, head to the Hilton website and find the date that works for you! Booking has been extended to January 26, 2025, but be sure to act fast, as availability won’t last long.
“Designed to capture the true essence of the movie, the suite seamlessly blends spellbinding decor with signature Hilton hospitality, creating an unforgettable experience,” the Hilton website states.
A peek inside the Stay Like Wicked suite: Magical decor and more
If you’re wondering what to expect when you arrive at the Wicked suite, the Stories From Hilton site shared a glimpse into the experience.
“An enchanting entrance will delight guests upon arrival, featuring Emerald City-inspired wallpaper and a custom-designed door, evoking the magic of Wicked,” the site states. “A custom entry portal transports guests to a sophisticated living area styled after the Wizard’s Throne Room and the art deco aesthetic of the Land of Oz with no tulip left unturned.”
The suite, which overlooks midtown Manhattan, features plenty of Wicked décor, inspired by Glinda and Elphaba, including a hidden beverage bar and a stunning living area. And whether you prefer Glinda or Elphaba, the suite offers both of the witches to choose from. The suite is divided into two sides: one decorated for fans of Elphaba and the other for Glinda.
The suite description says, “Elphaba’s side takes cues from Shiz University’s enchanted forest, positively green and moody. Glinda’s side is perfectly pink and sure to be popular, featuring a cherry blossom tree canopy.”
Not only is the suite a magical movie experience, but guest will receive a sweet delivery of pastries to their door each morning by a “whimsical floating hot-air balloon, defying gravity to bring you breakfast in the sky.”
The beverage bar is not just any hotel minibar. The Wicked bar is hidden behind an enchanting bookshelf, which opens up to reveal the finest coffee and the tastiest Wicked drinks. The cocktails offered at the in-suite happy hour are inspired by Glinda and Elphaba.
But if you are unable to book the Wicked suite for any reason, beginning on Friday, November 22, fans and guests can head to the New York Hilton Midtown and other select Hilton hotels to enjoy a Wicked-themed cocktail (check Hilton.com for a location near you).
Drinks offered include the “shimmering pink ‘Ozmopolitan’ (Cosmopolitan) to the rich and creamy ‘Ozspresso Martini,’ (espresso martini) and a non-alcoholic ‘Sorcerer’s Elixir.’
