Actress Pamela Anderson is no stranger to the spotlight. Not only is the former Playboy cover star turned actress best known for her work in Baywatch, Home Improvement and V.I.P., but she has also turned heads with her skincare line, memoir and cookbook. Another thing the actress has made headlines for is her various romantic relationships. Below, we dive deep into all of them, including Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Keep reading for more.
Jon Peters
While living in the Playboy mansion in the early 1990s, Anderson met producer Jon Peters.
“I walked in and saw this little angel sitting at the bar. It was Pammy. She was like 19. I knew she would be a big star,” he recalled in 2022. “We ended up living together.”
He also revealed that he was the one who helped kickstart her career, saying, “I tried to talk her out of doing Playboy. I said, ‘Don’t do Playboy. Focus on a serious career.’ She said, ‘You’re nuts.’ She wanted to do Playboy, and she went on to do 13 covers.”
“Pamela was amazingly ambitious, knew what she wanted to do, how she wanted to do it.”
Peters did propose to Anderson, but the actresses turned him down, most likely because of the 22-year age gap between them.
However, in 2019, the pair reunited and even got married in 2020, but after just 12 days together, they split up.
“We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another,” the actress said at the time. “We have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
That was the last time the two publicly commented on one another.
Tommy Lee
Anderson’s most well-known relationship was with Mötley Crüe member Tommy Lee. The two met in 1995, and after just 96 hours, the pair eloped in Mexico.
“My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love,” Anderson wrote in her memoir Love, Pamela. “We had fun, and our rule was no rules.”
Despite the overpowering love between them, the couple had numerous issues during their marriage, including a sex tape that was stolen from a safe inside their house and sold to the tabloids.
Wrote Anderson, “It ruined lives, starting with our relationship—and it’s unforgivable that people, still to this day, think they can profit from such a terrible experience, let alone a crime.”
Another thing the couple faced was a lot of domestic abuse. In her memoir, Anderson even recalled when it got so bad that she had to call the cops on Lee.
“Tommy ripped Brandon [their son] off me and threw me and Dylan [their other son] into a wall,” she wrote. “[That’s when] our hell began.”
After that incident, Lee spent six months in jail, and when he was released, the two divorced in 1998.
“The divorce from Tommy was the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life,” wrote Anderson. “I was crushed. I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night. We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies.”
The pair did reunite in 2008, with Lee saying, “We’ve only given it a try 800 times—801, here we go. Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It’s awesome. It’s definitely working.” That only lasted a year, though, because Lee married someone else in 2009.
According to Anderson, the two of them keep in touch occasionally. They were also the inspiration for the 2022 Hulu show Pam & Tommy, which starred Lily James and Sebastian Stan.
Marcus Schenkenberg
After divorcing Lee in 1998, Anderson began dating Swedish Calvin Klein model Marcus Schenkenberg. The two eventually got engaged, but split in 2001 before tying the knot.
“Marcus is a really nice man, but I’m just looking for something different in my life—someone with a little passion in their life,” Anderson explained. “Marcus and I had both been working hard, and it was simply impossible for us to be together.”
Schenkenberg is currently 56 years old and has never been married.
Kid Rock
Robert James Ritchie—AKA Kid Rock—and Anderson started seeing each other in the spring of 2001. They became engaged for the first time in 2002, but split in 2003.
Three years later, the two reunited at a party and married in August 2006 in St. Tropez. They had two other ceremonies before filing for divorce in November of that same year.
“[He] is great in many ways, we just don’t belong together,” Anderson said in 2007. “I love my children. He loves his son. We both have wonderful family and friends (supporting us) through (difficult) this time.”
Although the two seemingly do not keep in touch, they have both wished the other well in various interviews.
Rick Salomon
Anderson seems to love giving men second chances because the actress married Rick Solamon twice in five years.
First, the pair wed in a Las Vegas hotel room in October 2007. That marriage didn’t last very long, though, because in December 2007, the two got their marriage annulled due to “fraud.” It remains unclear what that means.

“We’re very happy. Our families are very happy, and that’s all that matters,” Anderson revealed in 2014, but similar to the first time, the pair filed for divorce that same year.
Since then, the two have hardly talked about one another.
Julian Assange
Despite his less-than-stellar track record, Anderson began seeing Julian Assange while staying at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, England. He was there to try and avoid facing extradition to Sweeden for his various rape allegations and espionage charges for his work at WikiLeaks.
“My relationship with Julian— it’s no secret. He is one of my favorite people and he might be the most famous, most politicized refugee of our time,” Anderson said at the time. “He is the strongest person I know, but living as he is is very unhealthy, demeaning and inhumane. Julian is trying to free the world by educating it. It is a romantic struggle—I love him for this.”
It is unclear when the pair split or if they remain in touch.
Dan Hayhurst
Anderson’s most recent marriage is with Dan Hayhurst, a bodyguard. The two wed on Christmas Eve in 2020, but they had been together for a long time prior.
“I’m exactly where I need to be—in the arms of a man who truly loves me,” Anderson said in 2021. “This is where my parents were married, and they are still together. I feel like I’ve come full circle.”
Sadly, the couple split in January 2022 after just two years of marriage.
