The holiday season will be here before we know it, and the Jonas Brothers are already preparing for the next round of cold weather. The three siblings are teaming up, along with Nick Jonas’ wife, actress Priyanka Chopra, for a new holiday movie.
The brothers — Kevin, 37, Nick, 32, and Joe Jonas, 35 — and Chopra, 42, were seen out and about in Toronto getting ready for the 2025 winter season as they begin filming their new holiday movie. The untitled project will reportedly be available for streaming on Disney+ during the 2025 holiday season and will star the three brothers, along with their youngest sibling, Frankie Jonas, 24 and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D star Chloe Bennet.
Rumors of what the boy band has been up to have been swirling since their performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve when they announced there were big things on the horizon for their 20th anniversary.
“We’re definitely going to be going on a big tour,” Kevin shared at the time. Nick continued, “We got a ton of announcements coming up. The first thing up is we got a new song… There’s a ton coming, so stay tuned.”
It would seem that a holiday movie is one of the things coming for the Jonas Brothers as they gear up to celebrate being a band for 20 years.
The Jonas Brothers have been on the big and small screen before
If you’re thinking you’ve seen the brothers acting on camera before, you’d be right. Early on in their career, the trio starred in the Disney Channel original movies, Camp Rock (2008) and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), followed by their own series, Jonas (2009-2010). After the trio took a hiatus, Nick Jonas went on to make a splash in the film industry, starring in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), Midway (2019) and The Good Half (2023).
Joe Jonas actually began another band, DNCE, but also dipped his toe in the acting pool. He appeared in Zoolander 2 (2016), Hotel Transylvania 3 (2018) and Devotion (2022). Meanwhile, Kevin had a reality show with his wife, Danielle, called Married to Jonas (2012-2013), as well as hosting Claim to Fame (2022) with younger brother Frankie.
Priyanka Chopra, who tied the knot with Nick Jonas in 2018, has had her own massive acting career, starring in Quantico (2015-2018), Baywatch (2017), Citadel (2023) and Love Again (2023). Chopra has lent her expertise to her husband as he began to take on more acting projects.
“I’ve got a pretty good scene partner at home,” Jonas shared in 2024. “By pretty good, I mean like, world class, so that’s always nice. We just talk about, you know, characters.. It’s great to stay creative at home, and then you can bring that into the workspace.”
The brothers have all become fathers
Chopra and Jonas welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, in 2022. Joe Jonas also became a dad, becoming a parent, with ex-wife Sophie Turner, to Willa in 2020 and Delphine in 2022. Meanwhile, Kevin has welcomed daughters Alena and Valentina in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
