It’s no secret that Jennifer Aniston is known for her iconic hair. From her beloved Rachel bob on Friends to her long, luscious, straight hair IRL, her locks have truly become part of the actress’s signature style. Another thing that has become part of the actress’s signature style? Her dogs! Now, the actress has decided to combine the two and release a pup-safe shampoo, and she is donating the profits to her animal charity. We have all the details on the shampoo and the super sweet way Aniston’s organization is helping animals the world over below.
All about Jennifer Aniston’s dog shampoo
Aniston’s dog shampoo is the latest release from her hair care company, LolaVie, which the actress founded in 2021.
“I’ve always believed that pets deserve the same care and attention as we give ourselves, and Puppy Love Dog Shampoo brings that philosophy to life,” the actress told PEOPLE magazine. “It’s a product that pampers dogs, leaving their coats soft, shiny, and healthy.”
And if that wasn’t enough to get your dog’s tail wagging, Aniston also announced that all of the profits earned from the Puppy Love Dog Shampoo will be donated to her nonprofit organization, The Clydeo Fund—which helps provide resources to rescue organizations around the world.
“It’s such a joy knowing that with every purchase, we’re helping animals in need through The Clydeo Fund,” Aniston exclaimed. It’s not just about great grooming—it’s also about giving back.”
The shampoo is vegan and cruelty-free, and according to a press release obtained by First for Women, it’s formulated without silicones, sulfates (SLS/SLES), parabens, gluten and phthalates.
The press release also detailed the shampoo is made out of vegetable ceramides, upcycled orange pulp and coconut milk yogurt probiotic, all of which are safe for dogs.
Aniston’s Puppy Love Dog Shampoo is available on the LolaVie website and costs $32 before taxes, shipping and handling fees.
Jennifer Aniston, the animal lover
Aniston hasn’t been shy about showing the world how much she loves her four-legged friends. The actress has two dogs named Lord Chesterfield and Clyde, both of whom she rescued and often posts about on her Instagram.
Recently, the actress also released a children’s book called Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life, which was based on her dog Clyde and the YouTube cartoon series she launched in his honor called Clydeo.
“I could not be more thrilled to be taking Clydeo and his stories to publishing, where he will hopefully inspire children and dog lovers alike with his adorable journey to find his true passion,” Aniston said in October.
The proceeds from the book sales also went to The Clydeo Foundation, which was founded at the same time Aniston announced Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life.
“We can help these animals, and we can get awareness out and help the shelters that are in desperate need of upkeep because they’re falling apart,” the actress said at the time of the foundation’s founding. “They can’t keep up. And all you see is that we’re euthanizing innocent, beautiful, perfectly, perfectly fine two-year-old dogs, or a puppy, or a litter. I can’t. It’s too much. It’s too many.”
“I hope that my book, the Clydeo Fund and all of the future work I will be doing to support these animals will inspire people around the world to consider adopting, fostering or lending support where they can to animals in need.”
