However, there are a few causes of hair loss that are common. For starters, hormones can play a big part in hair shedding. As we age and start to enter perimenopause or menopause, many women notice their hair starting to thin (even when they never dealt with hair loss in the past). This happens due to a decrease in estrogen levels. And aside from menopause, genetics can play a part in waning estrogen levels, and hair loss in general.

More specifically, Lemme Grow is made with vitamin C, niacinamide, vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid, which all have antioxidant properties, support collagen production and help deliver oxygen to hair follicles. It’s also packed with minerals, like copper and zinc, essential nutrients for healthy hair. Additionally, Lemme Grow is formulated with L-Cysteine, a natural amino acid that makes protein for stronger strands, and bamboo silica to help promote collagen and glycosaminoglycan (which is part of the make up of the dermis layer of the skin and helps with wrinkle prevention and scar repair) production. The star of the show, however, is Cynatine HNS, a form of keratin that promotes hair growth in 12 weeks, reduces shedding and increases shine (plus, it even helps nails). It also is said to improve hair’s amino acid makeup for stronger, healthier hair.
“Regarding Lemma Grow hair, the supplements contain a nice mix of vitamins/antioxidants plus zinc. This can be beneficial if you are struggling with nutritional challenges,” says trichologist Kerry E. Yates. “However, these vitamins are not necessarily a cure-all for thinning hair challenges. In addition, I appreciate that they conducted a consumer usage study, but 30 people do not make a proper study. Plus, the study is based on consumer perception, not actual measurable facts. Long story short, this is a good ‘added’ vitamin, but I cannot say definitively that it will grow your hair,” advises Yates.
A unique aspect of Lemme Grow’s formulation is that it’s biotin-free, which many other hair supplement brands include in their formulas. While biotin can be great for promoting hair growth, some feel it can cause issues in their skin (although there is minimal scientific evidence to back this claim). Lemme Grow is biotin-free to support sensitive skin and hair.
