Alexandra Daddario has the most enviable, glowy skin in her latest Instagram post. The True Detective actress, 37, shared a series of photos on Instagram from her life lately, which centered around a major house renovation. In the carousel, she also included a no-makeup selfie of herself wearing a skincare mask before getting glammed.
“Renovate everything,” she captioned the pics, referring both to her home renovations and her glam team’s work.
If you’re wondering how Alex gets such flawless skin, you should know that she takes her skincare seriously. And it extends to holistic health practices, too. “It’s really important to take care of yourself and learn to love yourself and love your skin the way it is and keep yourself balanced,” the actress told Vogue in 2021. “I think that all of that ends up helping every aspect of your health, including your skin.”
The White Lotus actress also told Byrdie that her “skin got terrible because, like everyone else, I was drinking way too much wine and doing everything I shouldn’t have been doing and stressing. I find myself taking care of my skin better now.”
One of her fave skincare products is the Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask from Andalou Naturals, which contains pumpkin honey, organic honey, Vitamin A, and glycolic AHA. And she especially focuses on her nighttime skincare. She shared with Harper’s Bazaar that she ends her day with lots of moisturizers and serums (seven products total), including: SkinCeuticals Glycolic 10 Renew Overnight, Truskin Naturals Vitamin C Serum, and Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer.
Plus, exercise is a big part of her wellness routine. Besides practicing hot yoga, she’s worked with celeb trainer Patrick Murphy since 2015 when she starred in the Baywatch movie. He shared with WH that their workouts include exercises like dumbbell rows, dynamic bridges, reverse flies, clamshells, Bulgarian split squats, and walking lunges. “She puts in the work and never looks for shortcuts,” Murphy said.
Alex is also a fan of acupuncture, which she told WH she has been doing since she was 23 years old. Additionally, she follows a healthy and balanced diet. Breakfast is usually a cappuccino with almond or oat milk, along with yogurt and fruit or egg whites with spinach and toast. Lunch is often a simple turkey sandwich. And for dinner, she likes to cook steak and fresh vegetables or hearty soup.
