Starbucks Spring Menu 2025: Leaked Floral Drinks & Spicy Food

Spring is just around the corner, and that means fresh, floral and vibrant flavors are about to hit coffee shop menus. Starbucks is gearing up to welcome the season with an exciting new menu—and it just got leaked. While the coffee giant has yet to make an official announcement, food blogger Markie Devo shared a first look at what could be hitting menus in March—including the return of a fan-favorite floral latte, a bold new chai creation and a spicy snack to match. Here’s what we know so far about the Starbucks spring menu.

The Lavender Latte is back—with a friend

Starbucks is officially bringing back the Iced Lavender Cream Oat Milk Latte, which became a seasonal favorite when it debuted last year. But that’s not all—this year, it’s joined by a creamy green tea twist: the Iced Lavender Cream Oat Milk Matcha.

“Lavender is the perfect flavor to transition us from the winter season into spring,” Starbucks beverage developer Patrick Penny said in a 2024 press release. “Its soft sweetness, light floral notes, and beautiful color ignite feelings of rejuvenation and awakening associated with the change of seasons.”

Tart and spicy newcomers join the Starbucks spring menu

One of the most exciting additions this spring is the Iced Cherry Chai, a fresh take on Starbucks’ chai latte topped with cherry-flavored crunch and boasting “subtle floral and almond notes.” According to Devo, the cherry-infused chai will also be available as a cold foam topper, so you can add a fruity flourish to any iced drink.

And if that wasn’t enough spice for you, the new Jalapeño Chicken Pocket is also set to hit menus. This toasted chile lavash flatbread wrap is stuffed with diced chicken, charred poblanos, green jalapeños, three-chile-pepper cheese and jalapeño cream cheese for an extra kick.

Starbucks’ first-ever energy drinks and a spicy truffle surprise

Want the energy without the coffee? Starbucks may also launch its first-ever canned iced energy drinks in two flavors: Tropical Peach and Blueberry Lemonade. These 12-ounce drinks reportedly contain 160 mg of plant-based caffeine, giving customers a new way to get their Starbucks fix on the go.

Another potential new arrival? Truff Hot Sauce! According to Devo, Starbucks plans to roll out both Original Hot Sauce and Jalapeño Lime Hot Sauce, possibly as additions to spice up menu items like the Jalapeño Chicken Pocket.

Starbucks didn’t forget Valentine’s Day

Starbucks fans won’t have to wait until spring for exciting new flavors. Devo speculates it will roll out its Valentine’s Day menu on February 4. According to the leak, the lineup includes a brand-new Blackberry Sage Refresher, available with lemonade or coconut milk (a.k.a. the Midnight Drink). This features sweet blackberries and herbal sage shaken with ice.

Starbucks app users can also expect two exclusive drinks. The Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Frappuccino, a blend of strawberry purée, java chips and whipped cream, and the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew, topped with chocolate cream and cookie crumbles. Plus, a new Valentine Cake Pop, featuring vanilla cake and buttercream, is already available at stores.

A new era for Starbucks

Beyond the menu updates, Starbucks is undergoing some big changes under its new CEO, Brian Niccol. The brand recently announced a return to its classic in-store experience. This means the beloved condiment bar, free refills on select drinks and even old-school glass tumblers and mugs.

After years of streamlined service, it looks like Starbucks is embracing a more traditional coffeehouse vibe again. Stay tuned for more updates and let us know in the comments below what you’re most excited about!
