Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Baked by Melissa and Cabot Creamery are teaming up to offer dessert lovers an unforgettable set of treats. The two companies recently announced their Cabot Sweet and Salty Cupcakes, a 25-pack of cupcakes featuring a Cabot cheddar and a dulce de leche flavor. (A cheddar cheese cupcake is tastier than it sounds—we promise!) These cupcakes are bite-sized so you can enjoy a few without overindulging your sweet tooth. Since this is a limited-edition cupcake offering, don’t miss your chance to treat yourself or that special someone to a batch of these mouthwatering treats. Here’s more on this unique and tasty collaboration.
The sweet scoop on this collaboration
A box of cupcakes never fails to make occasions like Valentine’s Day even more special, however, the usual chocolate and vanilla flavors can get a little boring. So, Baked by Melissa is partnering with Cabot Creamery to introduce some unique and delicious cupcakes to commemorate the loved-filled holiday.
“Sweet treats and Valentine’s Day are synonymous and this year we wanted to experiment with unexpected flavor pairings for our bite-size cupcakes,” said Melissa Ben Ishay, co-founder and CEO of Baked by Melissa, says in a press release. “Cabot’s dedication to quality complements my obsession with creating the perfect bite, and this flavor pairing allows us to deliver a really special cupcake that will leave you craving more.”
This isn’t the first time Baked by Melissa has offered an unconventional cupcake flavor to customers as they previously unveiled a spicy Tabasco-flavored cupcake. But, this collaboration brings two indulgent foods, cupcakes and cheese, into one delicious dessert. “We’re thrilled to partner with Baked by Melissa on this unique treat,” Sara Wing, director of community marketing at Cabot Creamery, says in a press release. “As a farmer-owned cooperative and certified B Corp, we’re passionate about connecting people through food. Combining our award-winning cheddar with Baked by Melissa’s creative desserts is a delicious way to celebrate the balance of flavors—and love—this Valentine’s Day.”
