Ben and Jerry’s is no stranger to big ideas, and now it’s going even bigger with its Scoopa-palooza campaign. On January 14, the brand announced that Scoop-apalooza is made for sharing and will feature four new flavors in 28-oz containers instead of the standard 16-ounce pint-size.
“This is a whole new Ben & Jerry’s for today’s fans who know that sharing is caring,” said Ben and Jerry’s flavor guru, Haylee Nelson, in the press release. “Scoop-apalooza is intentionally unpretentious to appeal to all of your friends and loved ones, and to pair best with any celebration be it cake, pie or dare I say… on a warm brownie?”
The four delicious new flavors in Scoop-apalooza
Sharing a pint of ice cream is challenging, which is why the Scoopa-palooza flavors are (nearly) double in size and offer five servings instead of three. Don’t worry; we won’t judge if you end up eating the whole container yourself. With a new size also comes four new flavors. According to Ben and Jerry’s, the new flavors include:
- Vanilla & Fudge Brownie: A classic combination of rich vanilla ice cream swirled with decadent fudge brownies made by the Greyston Bakery who support open hiring.
- Chocolate & Fudge Swirl: For chocolate enthusiasts, this flavor offers a creamy chocolate base with luscious fudge swirls that will make your taste buds dance.
- Strawberries & Cream: Sweet cream ice cream blended with vibrant strawberry swirls.
- Coffee & Fudge Chip: This flavor combines bold coffee ice cream, with coffee from BLK & Bold, who empower youth and support grassroots change, along with oodles of fudge chips that are sure to perk up any gathering.
Where and how to get Ben & Jerry’s Scoop-apalooza
Right now, Ben and Jerry’s is sending exclusive kits to select fans so they can try the flavors before they hit shelves. According to the press release, feedback is positive and fans said, “Ben & Jerry’s pints are for your personal ice cream moments, whereas Scoop-apalooza is ideal to dish out with friends.” Or, in other words, “Pint for you, Scoop-apalooza for the crew.”
However, there is no need to worry, as the Scoop-apalooza line will be in grocery stores later this month.
Fans can also enter the Made for Sharing Sweepstakes, where they’ll have a chance to be one of the first to try the larger-than-life flavors.

Ben and Jerry’s posted the news on its Instagram, with the caption saying, “Something BIG just dropped! Introducing NEW Scoop-apalooza—4 new flavors big enough to share with a bunch of your besties. Call your crew and get your spoons ready! Look for them soon in a freezer near you.” They also shared flavor info and details about the sweepstakes, but fans already can’t wait to devour the new options.
Some are even joking that even though the container is bigger, the ice cream is still suitable for a solo indulgence. “Ah yes, the perfect serving size…FOR ME MYSELF AND I,” one person wrote. Another agreed and said, “Sharing isn’t a word in my vocabulary.”
