MHALA recently launched two new transition-age youth (TAY) programs that will allow the organization to help more youth ages 18-25 get connected to needed services.

Caring Minds for Youth provides linkages to services and referrals for youth in Antelope Valley experiencing symptoms of early psychosis. This program provides TAY experiencing early psychosis symptoms referrals to direct care and support.

TAY United provides linkages to services and referrals for youth in Long Beach and some surrounding South Bay cities. This program collaborates with the community and local organizations to link TAY to resources for employment, education, healthcare, and mental health.

Both programs will be holding events and workshops throughout the year, so be sure to check our calendar regularly!

These programs are funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.
