In this CME podcast, Dr. Andrew
Cutler interviews Dr. Jonathan Meyer about the history of muscarinic receptor
science in schizophrenia and how that informs the mechanisms of
action of novel muscarinic-targeting drugs for this disorder. They
also discuss the efficacy and safety of these drugs and provide practical strategies for
prescribing xanomeline-trospium.
Target Audience: This activity has been
developed for the healthcare team or individual prescriber
