The 90210 zip code is full of messy drama: exes finding their way back to each other, chaotic friendships and a whole lot of will-they won’t-they. In real life, however, the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 have endured their own set of craziness and dozens of relationships between them (some even dated each other!).
Rumors flew around about co-stars getting together and although they danced around them, the stars never officially confirmed anything. But over the years, they’ve found their true loves outside of the 90210 cast. See who from the show is married, engaged or just figuring their lives out.
Jennie Garth: finding love after heartbreak
Daniel B. Clark
The 90s it-girl tied the knot with musician Daniel B. Clark in 1994, but their relationship only lasted about two years, as the couple divorced in 1996. Garth and Clark never had children and finalized their divorce that year.
Peter Facinelli
Garth met her second husband, Peter Facinelli, back in 1996, on the set of An Unfinished Affair. The actress was still with Clark when she met Facinelli, but they separated soon after. Garth and Facinelli confirmed their relationship not long after her divorce was finalized.
They welcomed their first child, daughter Luca Bella, in 1997. In 2001, the couple officially married. A year later, they had their second daughter, Lola Ray, and their third, Fiona Eve, in 2006.
Garth and Facinelli remained married until 2012 when they filed for divorce, although it wasn’t finalized until the following year.
Dave Abrams
Following her second divorce, Garth met her now-husband on a blind date in 2014. The duo connected instantly, and although Garth had no plans of finding someone so soon, they couldn’t deny the feelings. Soon, Abrams was meeting her children and things were progressing quickly.
“We fast-tracked,” Garth said. “It was a big decision on my part, but I said I really like this guy and he really likes me and if we think we have a future together, I need to introduce him to my life as soon as possible. I threw him in 100 percent.”
In 2015, the couple tied the knot after a short engagement and have been together ever since. However, in 2018 they underwent a 10-month separation after trying to have a baby and going through IVF, which continually failed. But their separation ultimately ended and the two have been happily married ever since.
Shannen Doherty’s tumultuous relationships and resilience
Jason Priestley
The iconic Walsh siblings, Brenda and Brandon, seemed like the perfect brother and sister on-screen, but rumors of a romance between the two flew around off-screen. Although neither of the stars officially confirmed it, both Priestley and Doherty have danced around the fact that there was a spark between them.
Priestley previously denied a relationship, but earlier this year, on Doherty’s Let’s Be Clear podcast, they joked about the nature of their relationship.
“Brenda and Brandon were always so interesting, because we had an interesting relationship,” Doherty said. “There was this sexual undertone of Brenda and Brandon that to this day is hysterical.” They even discussed the strange Rolling Stone cover they posed for, along with Luke Perry, which they agreed was very bizarre.
Ashley Hamilton
The 90210 alum began dating her first husband, Ashley Hamilton, shortly before their September 1993 wedding. The two had a small ceremony in Doherty’s backyard when she was 22 and Hamilton was only 18.
The couple was only married for a short time until 1994, but there was never much information about their split until recently. Just before her passing, Doherty shared details on her podcast, where she spoke about her tumultuous marriage, which played a part in her firing from the drama series.
“Towards my last season, I was in a really horrible marriage and there were things transpiring in that marriage that made it very hard for me to consistently be on time for work,” Doherty shared. And although she didn’t name names, the timeline for when she was fired and her marriage to Hamilton does line up.
Hamilton struggled with drug and alcohol addictions, which weighed on their marriage. Hamilton shared a statement following Doherty’s death earlier this year, explaining his love for his former wife.
“Even though things don’t always work out the way we hope they will, she stood by my side during some of my darkest times,” Hamilton shared. “My love and admiration for her lasted far longer than our short-lived marriage.”
Rick Salomon
Although their romance was a brief one, Shannen Doherty and Rick Salomon have no ill will towards each other. The actress and Salomon wed in 2002 in a very quick wedding that took place in Vegas.
“We went to Vegas,” Doherty shared on her podcast. “And I had a witness, you had a witness. And then I said to you, ‘I can’t be married without my dad being there and my mom.’ And you’re, like, ‘If we’re going to do this, we’re going to do this right now.’”
The marriage didn’t last, however, as the couple got it annulled in May 2003. “Technically we don’t have to call each other ex-wife and ex-husband, because we got annulled, but we still do,” she said.
Kurt Iswarienko
Kurt Iswarienko was Doherty’s third husband, whom she was married to for over 11 years. The couple first connected in 2008 and married after three years in 2011. Their wedding was even filmed for Doherty’s reality TV show, Shannen Says
When Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Iswarienko was by her side. The actress shared her appreciation for her husband in 2016, saying, “My marriage was always strong, but it’s made my marriage a thousand times stronger. I could not have gotten through this without my husband.”
In 2023, the couple filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, but the proceedings lasted for over a year. Doherty alleged that Iswarienko was prolonging the divorce in an attempt to not pay spousal support due to the return of Doherty’s cancer.
Documents read, “It is simply not right that Kurt be permitted to prolong our divorce in hopes that I die before he is required to pay me while he continues to live his life and shirk his responsibilities to his dying wife of more than 11 years.”
Sadly, Doherty died on July 13, 2024, one day after filing to waive the request for spousal support. Iswarienko signed the document the day she died, officially ending their marriage.
Jason Priestley’s real-life love story
Ashlee Petersen
Jason Priestley met his first wife, Ashlee Petersen, on the set of Beverly Hills, 90210, where she was a makeup artist for a few episodes in 1996. The couple dated for three years before tying the knot in 1999, though they were married for less than a year, divorcing after only 11 months of marriage.
Naomi Lowde-Priestley
This love story was truly serendipitous. Priestley met his current wife, Naomi Lowde, in 2000 while in London, England, stopped at a red light. Although Priestley was only in England for a short time, the two connected instantly. When his job ended, Lowde ended up moving back to New York with him and it paid off.
The couple wed in 2005 and welcomed their first child, daughter Ava, in 2007. In 2009, they welcomed their second child, son Dashiell. Priestley and Lowde have been happily married ever since and often share sweet moments online together.
Luke Perry: private love and legacy
Rachel Sharp
Perry met his former wife, Rachel Sharp, back in the early 1990s at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. The couple walked down the aisle in 1993 and welcomed children a few years later. In 1997, their son, Jack, was born, and their daughter Sophie three years later. Perry and Sharp eventually divorced in 2003 after 10 years of marriage. They shared joint custody of their children.
Wendy Madison Bauer
Perry’s relationship with Wendy Madison Bauer was largely private, but the two were engaged at the time of Perry’s passing. Following his death in March 2019, Bauer shared her love for the actor.
“The past 11½ years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him,” Bauer wrote. “We have found comfort in one another and in the knowledge that our lives were touched by an extraordinary man.”
Tori Spelling: from on-screen romance to real-life love and heartbreak
Brian Austin Green
Before her two marriages, Spelling had a brief fling with co-star and on-screen love interest Brian Austin Green. Although they never officially dated, they had an on-and-off romance over the years on the drama series.
Spelling and Green recently spoke about their time together on her podcast, misSPELLING. They both explained there were never any labels on their relationship but that it was “much more.
“That label of, like, oh, boyfriend/girlfriend, are you dating? That almost felt disrespectful to me because it’s like, no, we went through way more than just what normal people go through when they’re dating,” Green shared.
Charlie Shanian
Tori Spelling met her first husband, Charlie Shanian, while starring in his play, Maybe Baby, It’s You. The couple tied the knot in 2004, but only remained married for 15 months. They filed for divorce in 2005 after Spelling had an affair with her next husband, Dean McDermott.
Dean McDermott
Although they had a bit of a rocky start, having both been married to other people, Spelling and McDermott’s relationship lasted for 18 years. Spelling called the first time they met “love at first sight. I fell so hard.”
Spelling and McDermott wed in 2006 and welcomed their first child, Liam, in 2007. Their second child, Stella, came in 2008, followed by daughter Hattie in 2011, son Finn in 2012 and son Beau in 2017.
Throughout their marriage, Spelling and McDermott had a reality show called Tori & Dean, which lasted five years starting in 2007. Spelling and McDermott eventually split in 2023 and officially divorced earlier this year.

Vanessa Marcil
The couple met on the set of Beverly Hills, 90210 when Marcil guest-starred on the series in season 9 and 10 and started dating in 1999. Green and Marcil got engaged in 2001. The couple welcomed son Kassius in 2002 before splitting up in 2003.
Megan Fox
Brian Austin Green met his former wife, actress Megan Fox, on the set of Hope & Faith in 2004. Fox shared, “I liked him right away. It was like magic.” Two years later in 2006, the couple announced their engagement.
Although the couple called off their engagement in 2009, they rekindled their romance in 2010 and had a Hawaiian wedding in June of that year.
“[Marriage is] the one thing that I was really specific in waiting for until I was with somebody that I knew that I would be right with and she’s the one,” Green said after tying the knot with Fox.
The couple welcomed their first child, son Noah, in 2012, followed by son Bodhi in 2014 and son Journey in 2016. Fox filed for divorce in 2015, but the two were back together the following year. However, in 2020 they officially split for good.
Sharna Burgess
The current couple, who starred together on Dancing with the Stars, first met at a coffee shop in 2020. The two joined the competition series in September 2021, Burgess as a pro dancer and Green as the star. Although they were eliminated during week four, their romance continued.
In 2022, the two announced they were expecting a child and welcomed son Zane in June. In September 2023, Burgess and Green announced they were engaged and are still happily together.
Gabrielle Carteris and Charles Isaacs

The couple welcomed two children: daughter Kelsey Rose in 1994 and another girl, Molly Elizabeth, in 1999. Carteris and Isaacs are still happily married.
